The FM 305 automatic flow wrapping machine is designed to wrap fresh food products with barrier film in a Modified Atmosphere Package (MAP). It produces a hermetically sealed pillow pack style bag from a reel of film located on the under side of the machine

Operating Principle

The flow pack style pack consists of a bag with three seals created from a flat roll of film. The machine unwinds the film from a reel located on the under side of the machine, while the infeed conveyor feeds the products equally spaced onto the film. Once the products are placed onto the film, the machine forms a tube that is longitudinally sealed on top of the product, followed by two cross seals that close the bag at both ends

This machine is currently set up for product size 97mm x 22mm x 12mm high at a maximum speed of 80 per minute (cassettes and desicants)
