ASEP-TECH® Blow/Fill/Seal systems integrate container forming, filling, and sealing into a single sterile operation, reducing contamination risk and production steps. Designed for Small Volume Parenterals (2-100 mL) and Large Volume Parenterals for intravenous and irrigation applications, these systems produce lightweight, breakage-resistant, particle-free, and recyclable containers from autoclave-safe resins. Customizable features include luer locks, twist-off tops, multi-entry configurations, and integral hangers - ideal for injectables, vaccines, anesthetics, and lyophilized medication reconstitution.

The Weiler Blow/Fill/Seal machines produce plastic aseptically packaged sterile-filled containers. Fill volumes range from 0.2mL vials to 1000mL LVP bottles. Typical resins used are L.D.P.E., H.D.P.E. and P.P. The B/F/S process creates sterile finished product in a matter of seconds.

B/F/S (Blow/Fill/Seal) technology is a groundbreaking method that ensures the highest levels of sterility in aseptic processing. Its versatility allows for applications across various industries, enhancing both efficiency and compliance.

Every step, from handling to closure, is optimized for maximum sterility assurance, with zero human intervention

Overview of Operation:

Thermoplastic resin granules are extruded and formed into a parison (tubular shape)

Molds and sterile air are used to form containers from the parison

The sterile product is then metered into the containers which are then hermetically sealed

This cycle occurs continuously as formed, filled and sealed containers are conveyed out of the machine
